- Will parents be able to change children to remote learning?
Parents had the choice to enroll their child(ren) in the remote learning (Virtual Virginia) option during the open enrollment period that ended on June 30, 2021.
- What is the deadline for changing instructional delivery options?
The deadline for enrollment has passed. Parents who wish for their child to switch/or return virtual learning must contact their schools before November 19, 2021.
- Is the COVID Vaccine required for students?
The COVID Vaccine is not required for student attendance.
- Will social distancing and mask-wearing remain in place?
Face coverings are required for all visitors, students, and staff in schools, on buses, and in county cars.
- Is there a remote option for Pre-K?
There is no remote Pre-K option for the 2021-2022 school year.
- How can I get more information about Virtual Virginia?

- Would CCPS return to remote instruction should health conditions worsen?
If health conditions worsen, CCPS may return to remote instruction. This decision would be made through consultation with the Piedmont Health District.
- What is the start date for in-person instruction?
The start date for in-person instruction is August 9, 2021.
- Will after-school daycare be available?
After-school daycare will be available during the 2021-2022 school year unless health conditions change.
- Will after-school remediation be available?
After-school remediation will resume during the 2021-2022 school year.
- What is the tuition cost for Virtual Virginia?
K-5 fee for 2021-2022 is $1,325 per student, per semester.
6-12 fee for 2021-2022 is $125 per student, per course, per semester. These fees will need to be paid to CCPS if your child is removed from Virtual Virginia.
